Power System

The pictured assembly is housed in the pump handle of the air rifle. A walnut forearm stock (not shown) slides over this portion of the air rifle. During the pumping action, air is delivered under pressure past the check valve assembly and into the air-spring chamber. When the air rifle is completely un-charged (such as following the initial assembly), between 40-55 pump strokes are required to both charge the air-spring and fill the firing chamber. This is a one-time requirement. Subsequent shots require between 6-10 pump strokes depending on the power setting.
